Project manager
Are you our next Project Manager to strengthen our Research and Development team? We are looking for an experienced professional to take a leading role in managing development projects for our next larger experimental platform systems, paving the way to a viable commercial fusion reactor design.
As a Project Manager at Novatron Fusion Group, you will be part of the team responsible for planning, leading, and documenting product development projects of different sizes and in different development phases from early pre-studies to complex machine implementation projects. We work according to agile methodologies and maintain close collaboration between projects and other departments within the organization.

Responsibilities
Your initial responsibilities would include (but not limited to) the following:
Project Life Cycle management
Project planning – defining goals and budget, setting milestones, organize the project, resource allocation, sprint planning
Team coordination – managing the project team in the sprint cycle, leading regular meeting, ensuring effective communication and progress, encourage demos and retrospect to improve way of working
Risk management – driving the risk management to become a natural part of the project
Follow-up and Reporting – monitoring project goals, milestones, budgets, and keeping all stakeholders involved and informed
Stakeholder management – manage stakeholder expectations about deliverables, timelines, and costs
Project closing – ensuring all project goals and deliverables are met before closing, performing a Project Experience Review to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
Together with other project managers improve our project model and way of working.

Knowledge, skills and experience
We believe you have some of the following qualifications:
University degree in relevant engineering field or equivalent education
5+ years experience of successfully managing projects in different sizes and complexities
Industrial experience from a similar role for advanced systems involving multiple technology disciplines, e.g. within Scientific Instrument Systems, Aerospace Systems or Capital Equipment Systems
Experience of managing projects using outsourced development
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey project status and decision needs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Education in Project Management
Curious approach in general, and particularly in applicable technologies
Experience of Integration Driven Development
Excellent English oral and writing skills for working with our international team

Location: Stockholm, flexible hybrid office but with majority of time on site divided between office and lab sites
