Your role as a plasma diagnostics scientist
As a plasma diagnostics scientist you will play a key role in the development and analysis of our plasma diagnostics instrumentation. You will participate as a diagnostics subject matter expert during experimental campaigns and advise on the direction of diagnostics development for future campaigns. Depending on the applicant, the role can lean more towards architecting the entire set of diagnostics for an experimental campaign or focusing on a specific diagnostics modality.

Knowledge, skills and experience
We believe you have some of the following qualifications:
* Experience from developing diagnostic methods to study partly or fully ionized plasmas in the 1015 to 1019 m-3 density range.
* Experience in designing or working with plasma diagnostics systems e.g. Langmuir probes, optical spectroscopy, interferometry, Thomson scattering, magnetic pickups, cameras etc.
Its beneficial if you also have:
A PhD in the relevant field and a track record of scientific publications.

Location: Stockholm, flexible hybrid office
Permanent, full-time position. Starting as soon as possible
