About Novatron Fusion Group
Novatron Fusion Group AB is a Swedish company headquartered in Stockholm. Established in 2019, we are commissioning and developing the NOVATRON fusion reactor design – an innovative solution for stable magnetic plasma confinement.
The NOVATRON concept is based on the idea by Swedish inventor and entrepreneur Jan Jäderberg. Theoretically and numerically, it has been demonstrated to minimize problems with plasma instabilities that have obstructed the commercial advancement of fusion energy.
As a company, Novatron Fusion Group is utilizing state-of-the-art technology in collaboration with world-leading physicists, engineers, and academia. We strive to establish fusion energy and the NOVATRON concept as the preferred and flexible large-scale dispatchable source of clean, safe, and virtually limitless energy.
To develop economically viable commercial fusion energy as soon as possible, Novatron Fusion Group will further streamline nuclear engineering and reduce the current capital and operational cost of future fusion reactors.
In December 2022, Novatron Fusion Group announced its business and strategic partnership with KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden, and with EIT InnoEnergy. In April 2023, we joined forces with leading fusion industry companies as members of The Fusion Cluster in the UK and The Fusion Industry Association (FIA) in the USA.
