Your role as Experiment data analyst / Physicist
As an Experiment data analyst / physicist, you will play a key role in designing and developing methods and procedures for experimental data analysis to be used by the team. You will draw conclusions from experimental data, and describe the analysis and results in internal reports, white papers and publications. 

You will collaborate closely with other physicists and software developers, as well as experiment systems and diagnostics experts. 

As an individual, you are a humble team player who is self-motivated, service-oriented, and hands-on. You should enjoy a dynamic work environment within a fast-growing organization entering the global arena. 

Knowledge, skills and experience

We believe you have some of the following qualifications: 

* A PhD or equivalent experience in the relevant field and a track record of scientific publications. 

* Experience in designing, developing and using tools for experimental data analysis. 

* Strong software development skills. This likely means that you’re comfortable with Python, Numpy/Matplotlib/Scipy, as well as unit testing, CI pipelines, Git, Conda, Python notebooks etc. 

Its beneficial if you also have: 

* Experience in plasma physics diagnostics systems such as Langmuir probes, optical spectroscopy, interferometry, Thomson scattering, magnetic pickups, cameras etc. 

* Experience with time series analysis or statistical modeling of physical processes or instruments.

Location: Stockholm, flexible hybrid office 

Starting as soon as possible 

Permanent, full-time position
