Last week our CEO Peter Roos had the opportunity to participate and update future investors and key stakeholders at FusionX Group in London.

Peter Roos, CEO of Novatron Fusion Group

Peter talked about the Novatron concept and the latest technical and scientific developments in the global - and growing - fusion industry.

But more importantly, Peter also discussed the societal values fusion energy will bring and the overall future investment opportunities.

Once fusion energy is achieved, humanity will have access to clean, safe, continuous, and unlimited sources of energy.

"As the first fusion energy company in the Nordics, we share the beliefs and conclusions of Fusion X Group; fusion on the grid is on the horizon, and fusion energy has a vast potential to radically improve standards of living around the world without environmental compromise," says Peter Roos. "Participating and sharing information about the NOVATRON fusion reactor design was a great privilege."

Key takeaways

Here are a few key takeaways according to Peter Roos:

  1. The global fusion energy industry is now growing fast.

  2. European fusion energy companies view each other as partners and many things must be solved jointly, in a partnership, by sharing technology and insights/research.

  3. The UK government's fusion strategy to lead the global commercialization of fusion energy is one of the few initiatives actively supporting the most promising fusion technologies.

More EU collaboration required

"The European states must cooperate more on infrastructure, common regulatory directives, skills development, and investments. All this is appropriate in some kind of common European fusion strategy," concludes Peter Roos.
