Katarina Bendtz, PhD
Computational Physicist
During her PhD research, Katarina worked on the ATLAS experiment, searching for magnetic monopoles. Her postdoctoral research involved cognitive neuroscience and computational work.
Katarina’s diverse background includes roles as Machine Learning and Data Science Lead at Mai. Currently she is working on designing the NOVATRON 2.
Jan Jäderberg
Inventor, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer
Jan is the mastermind inventor of the NOVATRON fusion energy solution and has devoted much of his time to the magnetic confinement of high-energy plasma.

Gustaf Mårtensson, PhD
Experiment Manager
Gustaf's background in fluid mechanics and applied mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm includes research roles involving electronics production and clinical diagnostics.
His key areas of expertise range from fundamental modeling of fluids to experimental design, and data analysis.

PETER ROOS

Before Peter became the CEO of Novatron Fusion Group, he served as the acting CEO of FindOut Technologies and Prevas InfoVis. He has a long history of entrepreneurship in technology companies. As a former developer, Peter’s work has focused on organizational and business development for high-tech firms to improve the efficiency of their development organizations.
Peter holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, along with studies in economics.
JOHN ASPEMAR

John has a background in high-growth companies and organizations in the hardware and fintech sectors. He has worked for Scania, Klarna, and most recently CAKE, where he served as Deputy CEO and CFO.
John is currently a member of the Tangible board. He holds an M.Sc. in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics.

INGVAR ERIKSSON

Ingvar is Investment Director at InnoEnergy Scandinavia and a board member of several companies, including Cascade Drives and MAQ. He previously served on the board of CorPower Ocean and Ferroamp AB. Ingvar founded and was CEO of Novator, a company in orbital drilling. His past roles include Associate Professor and Program Coordinator at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH).
Ingvar holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from Linköping University and a PhD from KTH in Stockholm.
ERIK ODÈN DAHLBÄCK

Erik is the co-founder of Novatron Fusion Group and a true venture entrepreneur. He has co-founded and grown multiple deep-tech startups, always focusing on international markets. Erik has extensive experience in international business-to-business sales and collaboration, financial management, various forms of fundraising, IPOs, and leading challenging technology development.
Erik holds an M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm.
MALIN CARLSTRÖM

Malin is a renowned venture capitalist with two decades of experience investing for prominent financial and corporate VC funds. She serves as a general partner at Climentum Capital, an Article 9 regulated fund focused on investing in European startups that significantly reduce CO2 emissions in a quantifiable manner. Previously, Malin held investor positions at Industrifonden, Verdane, SEB, and ABB.
She earned her M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Management from Chalmers University of Technology Gothenburg.

HENRIKKI TALVITIE

Henrikki is the CEO of St1 Nordic Oy since 2018. Prior to that, he was the CEO of North European Oil Trade Oy between 2007-2018. Henrikki has held various management positions in the energy sector value chains and energy transition. He is a board member of Novatron Fusion Group since 2025.
Henrikki holds an M.Sc. in International Economics from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.
