The great challenge of our lifetime, and how we must solve it together

Arranged by the Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the United Kingdom, Impact is a yearly gathering that brings together stakeholders from across relevant industries and some of the greatest thinkers from both Sweden and the UK to discuss the way to a green recovery and meet the United Nations' sustainable development goals. 

Following UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's announcement last week https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/pm-speech-on-net-zero-20-september-2023 of his exceptions and delays to several key policies in the UK’s net zero strategies it is very clear that we must not rest on our laurels and our common beliefs as a deep tech business nor as a business community.

This transformation will not be easy. The world’s energy demand is growing rapidly, and we need to meet it without reliance on fossil fuels. Fusion power has the potential to provide a limitless supply of emissions-free, reliable, safe, and affordable energy for all. 

However, as stated in the welcoming programme for Impact 2023 by Fredrik Warneryd, Chief Executive Swedish Chamber of Commerce: climate change does not rest and requires our full attention and dedication.

That is why Novatron Fusion Group is participating in this event, and many others like this. As a business, we have a responsibility to showcase our technology. We are convinced that fusion power would provide a much-needed solution to some of humanity’s greatest challenges: the growing need for energy and accelerating climate change.

We are happy to be able to participate in this year's meeting and to meet like-minded 200+ business leaders, entrepreneurs, and important stakeholders within politics and policy, and academics from the UK and Sweden.
